Diana Marie Iorio

violinist + Artistic director 

Ms. Iorio holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree in Violin Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University, followed by postgraduate studies in Köln, Germany.


She is also a certified TEFL / TESOL Instructor with accreditation from NCFE and the British Council.


In addition to offering private lessons through her studio, L'archet String, Iorio is the founding artistic director and violin faculty of Luci Toscane Music and Cultural Arts Festival based in Siena, Italy.

Chamber music and orchestral performances include Carnegie Hall and Europe. Concertmaster, soloist and member of Musicisti Americani (Rome, IT). Soloist and violin principale ('05) and violin faculty ('06) of Siena Music and Arts Program in collaboration with the Università degli Studi in Siena, Italy, with performances in Italy and Switzerland.

Founder and instructor of L’archet String Studio. Carthage College, University of Wisconsin-Parkside; String program founding director of the Phoenix Country Day School (AZ), St  Mary Catholic School (WI), and All Saints Catholic Schools (WI); Wisconsin School Music Association All-State Honors Orchestra Clinician; Kenosha & Racine Public Schools orchestra clinician and string specialist; Founder and Artistic Director of Music in the Wood String Clinics; Kenosha Christian Life School instructor of violin & viola, Beginning Orchestra Director, and orchestra clinician; Founding Music Director of the all-city youth orchestra, Sinfonia, under the auspices of the Lakeshore Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (WI); Zion Conservatory of Music (IL), violin faculty.
